And now...here's Freeway, The Official Dog of The Bone Conduction Music Show
This is Freeway. She came to me on an extemely cold February
morning in 1999. She was walking down the middle of Michigan
Avenue headed east, right down the middle lane. She was as skinny as a pencil,
no ID tags on,
Freeway was on her way to oblivion and nowhere fast, lost in the sleet and drizzle.
She was getting ready to make a right turn onto east bound I-94...hence
her Apache name--Freeway. I pulled my car over and took her in,
the rest is history. I gave her medical benefits (she had heartworms--
she's a survivor, YEAH!!), an educational program (she is smarter than I am),
and full staff benefits. I love her and she loves me. Freeway is seen
here watching television (for real) in one of her favorite
positions (this is not posed). She is seen here in The Elmore James
Memorial Listening Room in her home, The Blues Compound of Love.
Freeway is
the nicest dog in all the land and you can't find a more well adjusted, friendly,
trusting dog...unless you are a rabbit. Freeway hates rabbits and rabbits shudder
and quake in their boots at the mere mention of her name.
Check out some fine cuts from Freeway's latest
cd release on Coolarity Records, 'I NEED A LOTTA LOVE'...
